Algar Editorial is a publishing house specialized in literature for children and young people and its main aim is to favour younger readers to acquire the reading habit with quality books adapted to their interests. Founded in 1999, our books convey values and are edited with care to offer quality books to the most demanding readers: the little ones.

Algar takes part of Grup Bromera, set up by different imprints as Algar Editorial, Bromera, Animallibres, Més Llibres or Tàndem Edicions. They all share the same spirit: encourage the habit of reading and grow passion for books.

Algar Editorial books are also available in America. Thanks to the joint work with our distributors, we are present in bookstores and schools, and we also participate in different programmes promoted both by governments or private institutions. Due to this, we are proud to have distribution in USA, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador and Dominican Republic.

Besides, in non-Hispanic speaking countries, you can find us in specialized bookstores in countries such as Canada, Australia or the Netherlands.

On the other hand, we attend the most important International Book Fairs in Spanish: FIL in Buenos Aires (Argentina), FILBO in Bogotá (Colombia), Liber (Spain) and FIL in Guadalajara (Mexico).
